The brief for this project was to design a garden that complemented the new extension. The clients wanted many things included in the garden: easy to look after decking, a new fence, rendered raised beds, artificial grass and structural planting. Colour was not high up on the list of priorities and as well as being stylish it must be, most importantly, low maintenance.
This was achieved using EcoDek composite decking, a treated softwood, horizontally boarded fence which makes the small space seem larger, blockwork beds with a silicon based render and planting which requires very little attention.
