Any issues were discussed and resolved without fuss and the end result is simply outstanding. "Yorkshire Gardens completed an extensive landscaping job for me. I couldn’t have asked for more. They went above & beyond to get the job done in the time frame promised. After care has also been amazing, anything extra needed or any question asked was always responded to. The guys working on site were very polite & hard working. John & Darren are so helpful. "Hands down the best landscaping design and installation professionals
in this region, if not the UK. The team are very patient and attentive
to every detail in the garden. Our garden came at a cost but we can say
without doubt we are overjoyed with the outcome and the follow up
service. John and his team have kept an eye on the garden to ensure the
warranty period is honored and have been proactive in providing follow
up care at no further cost. If you want outstanding design, installation
and after care then you must go with these guys."

"John was excellent on the design, taking the time to understand our brief and coming up with a design that we were really happy with. There was clear communication throughout the process so we knew what was happening when.The Yorkshire Gardens team who did the work were brilliant. Very hard working (the build coincided with a long heat wave!) and very friendly. They didn't mind explaining what they were doing and accommodated a couple of tweaks here and there without complaint. We were delighted with the outcome and six months later that's still the case. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yorkshire Gardens, particularly if you want the design and execution of a garden project."

"We hired Yorkshire Gardens after spending over a year procrastinating endlessly over what to do with our fairly small garden – we felt it was a fairly hopeless situation as we could not imagine what could be done to turn it into a modern useable but low maintenance space – how wrong could you be! Our garden has been transformed from a soggy muddy square of grass to what we consider to be our ‘Outdoor Oasis’ – it truly feels like an extension of our home and we daily escape to it for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying with our family – we hardly spent anytime out there before.
Johns design is fantastic – we were stunned when we saw it come to life. His vision and creativeness is second to none as we have the most perfect space now and we know it is completely bespoke to us. We were grateful at our initial design consultation as he showed patience and genuine interest in our ideas and concerns about the project – of which we had many!
Darren and his team arrived one incredibly cold and frosty morning to start the work – we were excited but seriously apprehensive of how this was going to go as this was this was our first experience of a garden design – we needn’t have worried. Darren is a great communicator and put us at ease straight away – he kept us informed every day of what was happening, he has a great team that he works with, their work ethic is amazing, quick and professional always.
It is really hard to put into words how thrilled we are with all aspects of the project from concept, design, implementation to now enjoying it and watching as the planting changes and evolves – it has brought us immense pleasure and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Yorkshire Gardens 100% - neither would the bee’s!"

"I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. The design by John and the installation by Darren and his team was of the highest quality. My uninteresting lawn with borders and a tiny patio was transformed into something wonderful with a pergola, raised pond, large planters and patio but still with enough grass for a game of football or cricket to satisfy the grandchildren.
Darren and the boys worked virtually non-stop for 5 weeks, often arriving in early morning darkness. Their attention to detail was remarkable and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for", it is worth every penny. Visitors always comment at how wonderful the garden looks.

"We took on a huge project with our fairly large sized garden. It was a complete mess, overgrown with weeds, potholes and a great big concrete slab. It needed some major work.
After a number of quotes from landscaping firms, I contacted Yorkshire Gardens. Instantly they stood out compared to the rest. The attention to detail, professionalism and high quality of work was fantastic. Darren spoke to me about various designs plants etc and didn't get frustrated when I kept making changes to the plan. Darren and his team turned up on time, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite, professional and trustworthy.
We've used so many companies on various projects throughout the years and have never come across such a great level of customer service and aftercare. Yorkshire Gardens didn't let me down with a single thing and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a revamp or a whole new garden. They are magic!"

"John came up with great design ideas and solutions that were tailored around our needs. I was really happy with the end result and loved the materials that were used for the design. John’s design was sympathetic to the surroundings and the whole place looks amazing.
The whole team worked really hard in all kinds of weather and they ensured that the site was tidy at the end of each day. They were a pleasure to have around and I was genuinely sorry to see them leave.

"We thankfully found our way to John after some disappointing meetings with landscape gardeners who seemed intent on projecting their own, sometimes farfetched, designs onto us without being willing to incorporate any of our own ideas. As our garden is awkwardly shaped and on a new build plot we needed to find a gardener who could maximise its potential.
In John we found a clearly talented and passionate landscape gardener who was only too willing to work with us and involve us in the design process. I think it’s fair to say we were probably quite demanding and fussy at times, but John showed great professionalism and patience throughout!
The result is a garden that we are really pleased with, and we particularly love our custom built pergola which should hopefully be covered by a beautiful vine in a year or two.
We would recommend John to anyone requiring quality landscaping services at a competitive price."

"I had needed a garden makeover for years. My garden was stony, slippery, overgrown, tired and dated. I wanted a low maintenance space I could sit in. What I got was beyond anything I could have imagined - a truly magical space. The design was inspirational. It included the terrace and low maintenance planting I had requested but went way way beyond that. John, the designer, gave me inspirational quirky details, like a gorgeous wooden staircase for the cats and a wall mounted mirror giving the illusion of an extended secret garden, as well as a layout and fencing that worked in total sympathy with the house. When it came to the actual work, the team were superb, led by Darren. Their knowledge, professionalism, work quality and attention to detail were fantastic. The work schedule and budget were exactly as described beforehand. The only difference is that, at every stage, my expectations were surpassed. as I watched my beautiful new space emerge. Now, it appears lit from within, even on dull days and it is a joy to be in, or look out on. In effect, I have a whole new room. I could not be happier and would recommend Yorkshire Gardens to anyone needing a superb, imaginative, individual, top-end garden."

"I have been delighted by the beautiful job completed by Darren and his team. I have never employed a company before where I cared so much about the end result - and where I was so afraid that I would end up disappointed - I care passionately about my garden and this is the first time I have been in a position to hire a company to transform a large area of my garden - so it felt like a real leap of faith!
Darren, Joe, Andy and Jack were splendid. It was lovely to see a real team - professionals who work together, respect each other, enjoy each other's company - and work JOLLY hard! They really knew their stuff and worked to the highest standards. Nothing was rushed, no corners cut.
Darren was really easy to communicate with and was always open and responsive to my questions or new ideas / demands.
This was the most expensive thing I have ever treated myself to - so it felt like a lot of money when we first embarked on this project - but by the end I felt like I had won the lottery! The completely new garden - quite unrecognizable - was magnificent - and seeing how much hard graft, skills, materials and machinery were required to achieve it - left me feeling it was an absolute bargain!

John quickly appreciated what we needed to change our small patch of weed ridden grass and concrete patio into a beautiful extension of our home with 3 outside ‘rooms’ on different levels. Darren and his team constructed it with efficiency, care and great attention to detail providing us with a beautiful result that will give us pleasure every day for years to come. They carried out the work unobtrusively, tidying up every evening, and were a pleasure to have around. I cannot recommend this company more, I contacted them, as I wanted decking, from my initial meeting with Darren I knew that I would employ the services of Yorkshire Gardens.
He was polite, friendly and obviously knew his job, a sketch of what I wanted was made, and I was given an acceptable price for the job, and two week later the work started.
The staff Joe and Jack were very friendly and hard working, they were very prompt and arrived at 7.30am on the dot.
The work started on Friday 17th March and was completed on Monday 20th March, the result is a fabulous very large decked area. Roll on summer.
Other gardening work is to be undertaken by Joe, so all in all, I am very pleased that I chose this local company, well done guys and thanks."
