Elemental. That was the one word brief for this design. So, we included earth, air, fire and water. The large glacial boulder represents the earth, the wind gently sways the leaves of the bamboo, there is a large corten steel fire pit and the water emerges from under the deck. Privacy is provided by two undulating walls of upright oak sleepers and the curves of the wall are repeated in the car parking space. One of our favourite gardens from recent years.
