about this project
Before work started there was just a boggy, waterlogged lawn sloping down to a very nice allotment our client had built for himself. We put in gentle oak terraces, a raised pond and beds but the best feature is a central path that drains the site. Imagine a drystone wall laid on its side which covers a large land drain to take away the excess water. There is also a bespoke summer house with a wood-burning stove and a green roof.
