This garden was conceived whilst the house was partially built and surrounded by a building site. The owners wanted a modern and stylish design that stood out from the crowd. You can see the results but what you can’t see is the 250 tonnes of stone that went to fill the steel gabion boundary and retaining walls and the rivers of freezing mud that ran through the site in some of the worst weather January has to offer.
We won two best in category prizes for this at the Association of Professional Landscapers awards: Best Hard Landscaping Design and Best Hard Landscaping Feature.
