Frequently Asked Questions

When you are planning a redesign of your garden, you are bound to have many questions. Below, we attempt to answer the most common queries we receive. If you do not see an answer to your question below, contact us and we will be happy to help.

How Much Will It Cost?

“How much will this job cost me?” – This question is the one most frequently asked of us, so this page aims to explain the value and potential costs of a landscaping or garden design project to better advise our potential customers.

As every project is unique, costs will vary greatly depending on the complexity of the job, the size of your garden and labour costs. We begin the process with a free consultation, and once we understand your needs and budget we can draw up a realistic plan and begin estimating the cost of construction.

To give you an idea, most of the gardens featured on our projects pages will have cost in excess of £20,000. If you want a well-designed and well-constructed garden then it is extremely unlikely that we can achieve any significant changes for less than £10,000. Unless your garden is very small, the £10,000 minimum is a figure you should have in mind.

You can read more on our Costing page.

Can landscaping be done all year round?

Yes! We need to keep busy all year round so as long as the ground isn't covered with snow we'll still be working.

Most people contact us in the spring which is probably the worst time to start thinking about landscaping as the phone never stops ringing and things can get a little stretched. Do yourself a favour and get in touch before you want to use your garden.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. We offer a five year warranty on all of our landscaping and a one year guarantee for all of the planting (as long as you look after it according to our instructions).
